Project Heal Them Young
This project which held on 30th November 2023 at Erhimu group of school Abraka, Delta State, with the aim raising awareness about child labeling, maltreatment, and bullying.
Key Activities
- Mr. Iruvwe shared his bullying experience, highlighting its lasting impact on self-esteem and academics.
- The event involved interactive games, dance competitions, and a performance by a talented dancer. Gifts were distributed to winners
Key Achievements
- Gained support from local leaders, including a kingdom endorsement, which amplified the initiative's reach.
- Empowered children by encouraging them to speak out against bullying and provided direct helplines for reporting abuse.
- Teachers, parents, and students across communities were educated about the dangers of child labeling, with lasting materials distributed to continue awareness beyond the event.
